On May 2, 2010, we arrived home from a week’s vacation to find our house flooded from a broken pipe at the water heater. We called a friend who is a realtor, and she recommended that we call ServiceMaster Drying and Recovery. Your team arrived at our home about one and a half hours after our initial call. They immediately started assessing the situation and then started with the removal and extraction of standing water and items from our home. We really did not realize the amount of damage until the reality of the problem hit us and the assessment was completed.
It is just great to have both a courteous and competent team. We were kept in the loop every step of the way. They arrived each day when they said they would, told us what they were going to do, and then departed when they finished that work. We are amazed that they were able to demolish the office bamboo flooring which had already started to warp even though is was glued down.
We just wanted to let you know that the ServiceMaster Drying and Recovery team put us at ease and were extremely professional and comforting during our time of need. I am convinced that their quick and decisive action prevented the growth of even more mold in our home, not to mention the expense we would have incurred if the mold would have had to be remediated.

I want to take a moment to thank you and your staff for the excellent service you provided at the Vista Beach Club resort.
During the initial stages of this renovation, we encountered a water intrusion due to a leak in the roofing system. After a heavy rainstorm, all of the units on the eighth and ninth floors of the east building were affected by this incident. Fortunately, your staff responded immediately, and was on site within hours of the initial call. The prompt service was greatly appreciated, as it allowed us to resume our scheduled work in a timely fashion.
Moving forward, we were faced with one other challenge – atmospheric conditions. The high humidity and moisture levels along the beach created additional delays for my drywall contractors and painters. They could not proceed until the finishes met their specifications. Once again, ServiceMaster Drying and Recovery had the answer to our delays. You set up special trailer-mounted driers and ducted the dry air to each of the appropriate units. From now on, we will know exactly who to call the next time this occurs.
